yep, might go boom the minute you hit the button, or might get 1/2 way down the track and go boom. Or it might last a season. but that depends on your tune and setup. that's the problem, wow 100 was awesome, let's go 150!! man that felt great, F**k it lets go for broke 400!! KABOOM!!!
The fuel you use, the tune up, the plugs. All crucial. I have never tried over 250 on a stock ring gap. But I'm fixing to. But, I am doing this on a friends engine using ethanol(e85). So the fuel will help out.
The stock ring gap is tight on these and gasoline burns hot form the pump with the accelerants.

Like Zones89rs said. Ring gap in tight! E85 will slow the combustion down over gas, but 400 on a stock cast piston!!!!! Please let us know how it turns out and remember, it didn't happen unless there's pictures!!!
