What's this part? 1 Attachment(s) I purchased a 2000 WS6 that had this on it. Don't know much about it other than it's an eye sore. I would imagine it's nitrous related and if i remove it can i just put a normal schrader valve cap back on like oem? Thanks for your help Attachment 584605 |
yep just cap it off, looks like some type of Hobbs switch that is pressure related to turn something off or on |
Awesome thank you for your help |
Fuel pressure safety switch. The schrader guts were probly removed so you'll have to replace them when capping it. |

That is a great looking car in your profile picture. |
That switch is often used with nitrous kits so in case you lose fuel pressure it will cut power to the nitrous kit so you will not run lean |
It actually looks like your adapter is leaking/seeping a little on the switch side of the adapter fitting. I believe the schrader stem is the same size as tire/tube so you should be able to fing and get one really cheap then cap it. |

It was mine, my favorite picture of the car. Cool to see someone else likes it too, and uses the picture. |
