Default TNT Solenoid sticks closed new, then sticks open

Brand new tnt f2 kit on customers car, on the dyno, the solenoid would not open with pressure on it, so had to click it several times while opening the bottle for it to work under pressure....(nitrous solenoid)

Then at the track later, the solenoid stuck wide open after a run, very lucky to not have hurt anything....

Sounds like the shaft on the inside of the solenoid got bent! When tightening up the fittings on the solenoids folks sometimes use the coil housing as a handle, the tube that runs up the center of the housing can get bent causing the plunger inside to stick or get stuck in certain positions.

Tell him to keep an eye on his fuel noid too. Mine stuck shut the other day, I'm suspecting a swollen seal from Sunoco gas but I havn't pulled it apart yet.

Take the two wire from the nitrous solenoid directly to the battery. One positive and one negative. WIth the bottle close does the noid click. If yes open the bottle to full pressure 900+ the noid should open. If it does not then the noid is bad, Send it back and get a new one.
