Plug for mostly NA but occasional 100 shot
Yes another plug thread. I have found a lot of good info purely around nitrous plugs but wanted to check and see how friendly the nitrous plugs will be to me NA.
Car is a BTR Stage 3 NA Cam LS2 C6 vette. Stock 243 heads with exception of BTR springs.
NOS Sniper Kit on a 100 shot. I never plan to go more before I get rid of it all for a blower.
Do I go ahead and buy 7EF's like most people on spray these days?
I bought the car like this and it is on TR6's from previous owner still.
I've only done 3 nitrous hits since I got the car and it ran good but I've read all the downfalls of TR6's an nitrous so I'd like to change.
My thing is I will 95% of the time be beating on the car NA. I plan to try a couple nitrous passes at most. It might then get 4 or 5 nitrous hits on the street this entire summer before the blower.
Will I notice any power loss or negative effects running a 7EF primarily as an NA plug?
One thread I read said that 6EF might be better for a NA car with a small shot because it's same heat range as the TR6 but not a projected tip. Does this sound right?
I just want to run the safest plug without giving up anything on the table for my car's usual NA power.

I go through maybe 2 bottles a year at best on my car. 99% of the time I'm running n/a. I run BR7's and noticed no power loss or weird idle differences switching from TR6's. I'd most definitely do the BR7's if I were you. No real downside, but now you can run with reassurance that all is well when you do actually spray
