Default Why is my solenoid leaking?

My proton kit began leaking so I switched back to my Iceman solenoids but the nitrous noid leaks....Picked up a new piston assembly and installed it but it leaks also? It's not rocket science to install it so I'm sure I got it right but can't figure out why it's leaking? Anyone?

It was leaking both from the outlet line, like the plunger wasn't seating right.....and from around the tower where the o-ring is. Took it apart today to check it out and noticed 2 very fine cracks in the housing itself? How would this happen? It's a very big and heavy solenoid. Now I have to find a replacement.
