Default ls1 nitrous question

what size of wet shot or dp can the ls1 handle in stock form...i've got headers & a lid right now, but that's it...i'm a n00b to nitrous, just thinking about getting a kit now don't worry about the tranny/rear end...just stricktly what the engine can take.

150 shoot I thinks is max, but I have seen 200, I have also seen 150 bust engines.
100 to 125 is a good safe hit.

The LS1 will easily handle a 150 hp shot. You may look into upgrading the fuel pump for anything over a 100 shot with bolt on mods.If you have any questions or need any advice feel free to let me know.

The DP is more expensive, more difficult to install, costs more, and is really unnecessary.

You'll be fine going with a basic NX Wet Kit. It's cheaper, easy to install, and is everything you need.

In a since KingCrapBox is correct.Im sure he is meaning to say it is unnecessary for someone who is only looking to spray no more than a 200 shot.Unless you are just looking for the cool intemadating look you will be fine with a regular kit.

yeh, i can't forsee ever more then a 200 shot, but i may add a supercharger down the road (and lessen the shot) so i guess wet is the way to go, eh?
