nitrous set up e85 v 91
im building a nitrous ls and am curious on which is the better fuel to run either e85 or 91 with a standalone c16 fuel system for the nitrous. if anyone could leave so tips and advise i would greatly appreciate it.
FWIW, I have ran my SBE LS1 on up to a 250 shot for almost a year. Running 91 in the tank and pulling C16 fuel off my standalone. Not sure how much I would/wouldn't benefit from E, but I don't really see a need at this power level. Zero knock across my runs and the car runs hard.
Stock ecu street/no prep racing. Carb style intake tick flow nitrous spec cam. And planning on spraying a 150 off the line then a 100 or 150 on a button for a scramble if not more off the line
If it were me, I would go the 91/116 dedicated fuel system setup. You can drive it around on 91 and then if you want to pour the coals to it, you could put something higher octane in the main tank. Are you going to run a plate or a direct port system?
