I picked up a TNT F1 kit from Fast SS and Now I think I want to throw in a cam. What would be the best cam to complement this sys. I will eventually add heads to my car but not at this time. There are a million different cams out there to chose from and all I need is one. So far my mods include lid,LT's,spec 3, and a 9 inch rear w/ 4.10's. I also got my suspension hooked up. I really dont want to go super hard core right away. This set up is just to get me by for now then maybe in a year or three I will go all out w/ a new motor etc. I want the car to atleast run 11's. right now I run 13.0000000 @109 and it is pissing me off. Any help from you experienced guy would be greatly appreciated.
depends on how much your spraying. i've heard if your not spraying 150shot or up, dont try to match your cam specs to the nitrous. instead, focus your cam decision on your all motor setup.
but when pickin a cam for nitrous, its known to have a slight regular split, and a wider lsa. you want less overlap which is what a wider lsa can provide you with. tigher lobe seperation angles have more overlap, where the intake and exhaust valve are open at the same time, letting unburnt gases escape. If you keep it all on the intake side, the explosion will be greater and give you more power.

Before you do all that may I suggest something? Don't take this the wrong way but the first thing you should do is learn how to drive that car better. 13.0 at 109? I don't know what elevation your track is at, maybe that's got something to do with it. Another thing you should invest in is a set of DRs.
It's the 13.0 at 109 that's really bothering me though. Even at a high elevation your car should be going alot faster than that, unless you're at 5000+ feet. What have others said about your ETs and MPH?

Actually with stock heads, I would go with a reverse split, like a X1 from MTI.
Or a Stealth II (What i ordered).
I tossed up between the 2, but for my DD I prefered the stealth.
Oh come on Ryan, you know I sold you a box of old pinball machine parts, and some TNT and NOS stickers.
I have a few Lunati stickers, that should help your cam install. Between the nitrous stickers and cam stickers........your doing 12.9999 @ 109.99999
He just needs some practice with the M6. His car is solid, and runs fine.
Get home safe, see ya soon!

Well with DR's I went from 13.1 to a 13 flat. I really think my clutch is **** but im not that much of a pro. anyways I know that my car can move if I race guys on the street that beat me one the track I smoke them like crazy like 1-3 car lengths atleast. After I get back from my deployment in the desert I am going to try out a new clutch and see what happens. Another thing I dont think I am running at my prime either my car runs pretty rich AFR starts out in the low 13's then drops to lower 11's on the dyno while hooked up to the wide band. I need to lean it out a bit.
Now the problem with my car is that I cannot keep them DR's from spinnin to save my life! But Practice makes perfect Right!? we will see.
And Jason I thought the box was filled with Daisy BB guns.
