Using E85 for JUST the Nitrous Wet System

Using E85 for JUST the Nitrous Wet System Just to be crystal clear: engine runs normal pump gas BUT E85 from a 1-2 gal fuel cell is used for the wet spray.
I haven't been able to find any discussion of this. Has anyone tried it?
I'm trying to find a solution where I don't have to pull timing with an add-on or IAT hack for a 150 shot on a large engine that is 500 whp NA.

If you have a standalone, I think the general wisdom is to use c16 or comparable.
You get the octane protection, you get a fuel that is easy to read plugs, you get jet charts that are dialed in, and if only using for the spray, it's really not a big cost issue

Thanks, I've run across the C16 suggestion.
What I like about the E85 is I don't have to inventory C16 at home - I can fill up E85 at the gas station.
Nonetheless, might C16 eliminate need to pull my NA optimized timing?

E85 will work fine. Call Dave or the tech line at Nitrous Outlet. Its bigger fuel jets and an E85 compatible pump.
