Default window switch question?????

i was planning on running an MSD window switch (on 3000 off 5900) when i pick up my NOS dry kit this week, but i have a question???

do i need an MSD box or anything to run the switch??? what connections exactly need to be made...i was figuring it needs to be wired in series with the power to the solenoids in order to work but how does it detect RPM??? do i have to come off a coil pack or something???

You won't need any other box(s). If you look at the top in the Nitrous FAQ, you will find a wiring diagram for a 5177 kit I believe.
