Need Advice on the PE for Nitrous Car
Okay guys what's the optimal AF mix for a 125 dry shot of Nitrous? The wide band on the Dyno has me at 12.5 which by the way is maxing out my 26# injectors. I couldn't get it below that. The guys running the Dyno felt that I should be at 11.5 and that 12.5 wasn't safe. Infact they shut it down at 5600 RPM's so as not to push it to my 6500 rev limiter. Before you start telling my to put in bigger injectors fear not, I do have some 30# ones in the wings waiting for me to install. My main question is what is the acceptable AF mix for the size dry shot I using?
If I can get my car to run at 11.5-11.8 on the juice I like it there. I dont really see a significant power gain between say 11.5 and 12.0. So I like to keep a "buffer" zone on the AF. If I want more power I will increase the total amount of nitrous and fuel to get the HP gains I want instead of trying to be tricky and lean it out more for minimal gain.
