Default I have 4:10s what do I do?

Alright I have 4:10s and am, currently trapping what's in my sig. Now I may be getting a NOS 5177 kit and spraying a 100 shot. I'm at the top of 4th now. With the N2O I would have to shift into fifth. I know it's not good to spray 5th grar. So what are my options. Rev limit is at 6350 right now. Could I shut off the N20 at the end of 4th and then shift into 5th to cross the traps until I get my tires? I want to keep the 4.10s for NA. How much would that hurt my times?

I'm going to have the same problem...but what can you do. You won't be spraying for long and as long as you don't do it every day, you should be fine.

I have a h/c setup with 4.11's and don't hit 5th gear either. You can trap about 125mph with a 6500 redline. If it is that big of an issue, switch to 3.73's. Oh, and think about a wet kit of some sort. JMO.

Thanks for the input. I think I will stick with the 100shot and see what happends. If I need more gear, I will put on some larger tires and problem solved.

I bet you guys saying you don't hit 5th have 17inch rims on there, or some other larger tire. We're running the stock 16"s.
