Will I have to tune for nitrous on a 75 shot? I know you can have up to a 100 shot without pulling timing on a near stock car with a stock tune but I was told my aftermarket tune has more timing and can cause knock retard when spraying. I have all mods except heads and a pulley and the car is tuned with LS1 edit.
I was gonna run a 100 shot but I am concerned about my stock fuel pump. I would be willing to go down to 75 if I could skip the nitrous tune all together.
A local tuner told me that all he is going to do is reduce my NA timing by 2-3 degree's from 3000-6200 rpm and it will be fine. He said TNT usually runs rich so it shouldn't be a problem. Is this okay?
I was also wondering about losing power with TR-6's gapped at .38 vs. TR-55's gapped at .55.
-How much NA power am I going to lose?
-How often will I need to change the plugs? I read they won't last as long and they will not melt and are more likely to ruin a piston.
