I had the NX kit installed by AP Engineering about two weeks ago. I've done a little cosmetic work on the engine and moved the solenoids to the drivers side inner fender from where they had them on the valve cover because I'm putting a new set of valve covers on. Got the bottle opener installed, the purge valve installed the NX switch kit installed and almost have the bottle heater installed. Purge works fine, bottle opener works fine. Moved the switch from where they had it in the ashtray to the NX switch per the instructions. Go to test the solenoids tonight by turning the key on, bottle off and arm the nitrous. Supposed to hear and audible click from the solenoids. Nothing. Got to thinking about this. I also have the timing tuner on the car. Chris put that on also. Is it possible that the timing tuner acting as a window switch which turns on the nitros at 3500 rpm would be the interference with the solenoids since the car is not running. Therefore, since there is no rpms, no solenoids would engage. Is that right or wrong and is that the reason I can't get an audible click from the solenoids.
if the timing tuner is set for 3500 rpm it has to be at 3500rpm. You can set the turn on rpm to zero on the timing tuner, arm it, and push the wot switch (also jump the fuel pressure safety switch if you have one and the car isnt running) and the solenoids should click.
