NOS remote valve...this is driving me nuts!
It's the NOS remote bottle valve. I can't get it to stop leaking. I have my pressure gauge between the bottle valve and the remote valve. No matter now many times I take the pipe threads apart and put new sealer on them It will still leak down a tiny bit over night. I don't know if it's the threads not sealing or the solenoid leaking. The strange thing is sometimes when I reseal it it only leaks a tiny bit, and sometimes it leaks a lot. This makes me think it's the threads leaking not the solenoid. I guess maybe I'm gonna break down and buy the nx bottle opener for $230 bucks
Has anyone seen the new NOS opener? Is that one expensive also? Are there any others?

I would give Dave's suggestion a try. If not we offer our remote bottle opener at $199.00. Some of our features:
> Full Billet constuction
> Quick release head, no tools needed to remove the opener!
> Open access to all ports
> Built in carry handle
> Drive gear doubles as manual valve handle!
Compare ours to the competition!

If you decide to use thread lock, I would use blue threadlock instead of red.
Sometimes the only way to break red threadlock loose is to use heat. And if it leaks the next day after using red, then you will need to break it loose and start over to diagnose the problem.

Ok, I know it says not to do this but use teflon tape! Yes, double it up and keep it away from the end of the pipe threads so it does not get into the line. We have seen this alot with high pressure pipe threads, sometimes you just have to use the tape!
