Default IS my NHRA blow down Legal??

I got the NHRA blow off cap and Tube. BUT the bottom of the NHRA tube is about 10 inches from the bottom of the trunk floor. Is it going to be legal if I clamp a heater hose for that 10inches to the floor and out the bottom I want no problems when i go to the track...

I have a 15lb bottle mounted in the trunk on a ledge across the trunk. I willl try to get some pics up later today.

Thanks

I've seen a lot of people do the exact same thing and it always passes tech up here at New England Dragway.

Be carefull though, when the burst disk blows, it is extremly violent and make sure that the rubber hose can't back-up and whip around inside the car like a firehose. Clamp the hose to something under your floor to prevent that from happening.
