Bad nitrous fill??

Default Bad nitrous fill??

Like the title says how can you tell if you have a bad nitrous fill or maybe even a contaminated bottle??

it will not work and motor will bog when used. if you cant get your kit to work and suspect this, try a buddys bottle that you know is good. this happen to me one time before and the shop did not belive me. needless to say, i did not go there anymore. all i could think of is that it was filled with nitrogen or just bad N2O. eather way, i drained the bottle completely and had it refilled at another shop. it has worked ever since.

The pumps that some shops use to fill bottles a lot, sometimes the seals will go bad. Which in turn pumps outside air in with the nitrous. So , you not just getting nitrous but air as well which usually causes the hit to sputter. You could also try and put a filter on your N2o noid to see if there an excessive amount of contaminents from that particular filling station.
