newb trying to rig a dry kit
I don't really understand nitrous and all its parts very well, so bare with me here please. Just tell me where I am right and where I am wrong.
Is this what would be needed for a dry kit on my truck?
Parts:
Bottle
Valve for bottle
4an line to run from bottle to solenoid
nitrous solenoid
4an line to run to jet
1 Nitrous Jet
Activation switch --- either WOT or Manual "push button"
To do:
Just mount the bottle
Run line to solenoid, then to jet
Drill a hole in the end of the K&N cone filter and mount jet in it
Is that it?
How much does all of that cost usually?
What are the engine safety issues with this kit on a 75-100 shot? I am scared of blowing the motor. I won't do this if there are REAL issues with durability on this kind of setup, but man I want this power, and I want it cheaper than a 500 wet kit.
