Default Another newbie question.......

i was thinking of going with a cam and valvetrain upgrade on my car, but i kept thinking about it for about 6months and i came up to the conclusion that i shouldnt do that right now. main reason being is that im short on cash at the moment AND the closest place to get a tune is like 5hrs away. so im looking at a good chunk of cash for the cam/valvetrain/tuning/and install.
soooooo.....i decided to get a nitrous kit. so my friend is selling me some kit that he has and its basically all the universal parts any car would need, im gonna be buying the ls1 parts by themselves. i want to be able to match the rwhp i would be getting from a cam or go over it, with the nitrous kit. i want to be 100% on safety and since this will be the last mod for a while....i want it to be reliable. the only mods i have are in my sig....the only other thing i am planning to get are dr's. so what do u guys recommend??? ive been reading in here for a while but still would like some recommendations from some one who has used nitrous already.
100/125/150 shot??
dry/wet??

Do a 100 or 125 wet shot, you will love it, I know I do. Now I want more
If you want it to be reliable and safe, you will have to spend some money. Bottle warmer, FPSS, either that Dynotune A/F Ratio switch or spend a little more on a wideband, WOT switch, Window switch....did I miss anything?

If you can get me some more info on what kit he is selling you and what parts come with it I can help you.

Just something to think about, Nitrous can break things. It's very hard on a clutch and rear end. If you're on a limited budget, it may not be the best thing to install.

Well first of all, like Dave said, we need to know what your friend is selling you. Both wet and dry kits have their pros and cons, I just did research and chose a wet kit because I thought it would be best for my set up.
