Default Tall skinny bottle brackets?

I know they make tons of nice bottle brackets for the short fat 7" diameter bottles, but does anybody make any brackets for the tall skinny 6" diameter bottles? I'm putting together another custom nitrous kit, and this is the bottle I am working with. I've checked placed like Dynotune.org, Cold Fusion, etc, and can't find any. Should I just buy a 7" diameter bottle and be done with it, or does anyone know of any places to get brackets for a tall skinny? TIA

Those bottles are dinasaurs man. The only company that I know of that makes a bracket for the old bottles is NOS. The part number is 14120NOS. It is a crappy steel bracket with a nut/bolt to clamp it. Call Summit or Jegs, I bet they have one in stock.

Has the old one been recertified? If not, that is another expense to deal with. I would ebay that old bottle, and get a new one, then you have a great selection of bottle brackets to choose from.

Well I got this bottle for free. You guys don't think it would be worth using this in the kit I'm building now?

Its up to you. If you are totally strapped for cash and dont care about what type of bracket you can use, then keep it, and get the NOS bracket.

But check the last certification date. If it is older than 5 yrs, then you need to pay to have it recertified. Usually costs around $25-. Also, the bottle may fail. They usually don't, but I have seen two fail recertification this past summer.

Nitro Dave and Dynotune sell 10 lb bottles real cheap, then you will have all the options you want for a bracket. You would end up with a nicer system in the end.
