Tips to remove Nozzle from intake (locktite)
The nozzles have already had the loctite applied and are very very secure. In trying to remove one, I already broke one nozzle off at the base ($52 mistake #1). How do I get these back out/deeper without breaking them? Any tips? I thought the loctite woud just just break lose, but the nozzles are very delicate and just snapped off.
How do you guys remove them once theyhave been seated? I understand easily, but any tips on the locktite?
RETAPPING: A little goes a long way. once the nozzle are out clean all contact areas and run the tap back down the hole. Remember to only add 1/4 turns(once tap get tight) at a time while rechecking depth with nozzle for that hole. The nozzle should start getting tight 1/2 - 1/4 turn from the final stopping postion. Reloctite and install.
Or just send us your intake and you will only need to pay for the nozzles that break and freight.
Hope this helps
Ricky
