can you pull the fuel off of the return?

hi,
i am looking at spraying something like a 100 shot on a 408, and I was wondering since I am going to have a completly upgraded fuel system, woudl it be ok to pull the fuel off the return right at the regulator?

I dont want to do it, before the rails if I dont have to so I dont worry about starving the rails

Not a good idea. The return is not really regulated. It is just the unused fuel after the requirements are met.

The service port on the fuel rails is the way to go on a single nozzle unless you get a seperate fuel system.
