msd window switch woes

Default msd window switch woes

installed nx wet kit on my 2000 ss last night. after making sure everything was hooked up perfect i tried to test it and nothing. noids wouldnt open up. when the microswitch was pressed power would go up to the relay but not out the green wire. i finally just yanked the switch out the system and it works perfect now. i had 3000 and 6000 pills in the switch. PLEASE HELP

Was the car started and the rpms between 3000 and 6000 when you were testing?

yes, someone told me to cut the loops on the window switch like my car was a four cylinder....does that work? i have it hooked up to the pcm #10 white wire

Yes it should be set up in 4 cylinder mode. I don't remember what wire I had mine hooked up to.

Like jamnut stated, BOTH looped wires have to be cut for it to work. If you have a fpss, I connected the yellow wire to one end of the fpss. Make sure NOT to ground the fpss if you go that route. Also, make sure your wires are crimped to the connectors correctly.
