Default Nitrous question

friday night i ran my car for the first time with N2O, was kinda disapointed, maybe i have something hooked up wrong??
for my first pass a ran N/A

r/t.......... .608
'60.......... 1.997
1/8.......... 8.350
mph......... 85.02
1000........ 10.841
1/4.......... 12.920
Mph......... 108.35

after a cool down i ran again sprayin this time, after my launch i hit it spraying only in 2nd & 3rd between 3,000 and 6,000 rpms.

r/t........... .470
'60.......... 2.004
1/8.......... 8.348
mph......... 85.09
1000........ 10.868
1/4.......... 13.021
mph......... 104.59

i only had the 75 shot in but dang, i lost a tenth & 4mph a fellow f-body guy who sprays said maybe my bottle preasure was low, he said if it was low like in the 600psi range it would be shooting way more fuel then N2o causing a rich mixture and hurt my times.
I dont have a preasure gauge so i cant be sure but i looked and noticed my preasure switch for the bottle heater had failed and wasnt on (bottle was cold)so i bypassed the switch and turned on the heater for about 10min then ran again. sprayin just like before in second and 3rd from 3-6,000 rpm

r/t......... .948
60'......... 2.034
1/8........ 8.359
mph....... 85.12
1000...... 10.848
1/4........ 12.928
mph....... 108.82

Any ideas? im a Nitrous I have a NX EFI Wet system only set at 75hp, the Nozzle for the system is in the bellows for now, i plan on tapping into the maf end

From what I've read, bottle pressure is extremely important. Do you have a warmer or know what your pressure was at the time?

Sounds to me like your bottle pressure was too low and you were shooting more fuel than nitrous (since you have a wet kit) which will definitely slow you down. I believe NX recommends 1050 or 1100 PSI bottle pressure.

i agree, it had to be the bottle pressure. get yourself a gauge, that way you know where your pressure is at

I do have a bottle warmer from cold fusion nitrous, but i dont have a preasure gauge. it was around 50* so the bottle was probably really cold since the my bottle heater wasnt on. An "equipment malfunction" with the preasure switch kept it from coming on.

Yenko if the pressure is already correct the heater wont come on.the 75 jets wont make a HUGE difference,if any at all.you need to try the 150 jets, then youll see the diff.you also need that timing tuner to give you alittle help on the timing side.it makes a HUGE diff.also did you change your plugs??? try a BR7EF...i ran it with that system and it was great.also try to run a little race fuel.that always helps.give me a call if you got any questions...ill be more than happy to help.good luck!
