I had the guy that normally does my work put on a nx wet 150 shot. Did all the wiring. I have a tsp 231/237 cam with stage 2 patriot heads 5.3s. Car went 11.24 on the motor last time we ran it and this weekend i sprayed. Second run it went 10.90 and felt worthless and last run went 11.1 and then it died at the end and had to be towed down to my trailer. Car would not stay running and I think I may have fouled the plugs. Second run the bottle pressure dropped to under 900 when I ran from the cold and the bottle heater wasn't working. last run I had fixed it and was running 1050 lbs. Question really is with heads/cam and the 150 shot what should the gap on the plugs be. The were ngk tr6's.

TR6's gapped @ .030" is my vote. What is the CR with the 5.3's?

 

Do you have a upgraded fuel pump?

 

Yea, walboro 255 and the cr is only about 10.7

 

Have your nitrous solenoid checked. You may have only been spraying fuel on that last pass..
