questions on Nitrous Express MAF plate system.. Can someone tell me about a ls1 plate system?
what are some advantages?
think my wife may surprise me for x-mas.
what do i need to know?
is it that much better than the old school spray right into the intake?

I run the NX Gemini Twin MAF kit as a dual stage set up with 150 shot on each stage and have had great luck with it. It makes right at 250 RWHP on a 300 shot jetted rich on the 2nd stage just to be safe. I have seperate noids for each stage which is alittle expensive but the system works well. What would you like to know?

about $650.
what safety devices do i need?
do i still need the usual:
WOT Switch
Window Switch
FPSS
can i do it myself with basic knowledge and hand tools?
It also comes with the $85 electronic TPS switch, so its a better deal.
Personally if i was going to install n20 on my own car, thats the kit i would install.
I've owned/installed a base nx kit, the MAF, and the NXL, and hands down, overall the MAF kit is my favorite of the 3.

if you don't mind me asking (since I've been looking at this too) what does that cost to get the kit, the safety stuff and what is the additional cost of going two stages?
I have a H/C car now putting out 415 +/- rwhp and was looking into this kit. My biggest question would be what else do you need to do for fueling? I understand it is a wet kit so my 28.6lb injectors would be fine but did you do another pump or just run the stocker?

I would call Nitro Daves for pricing. You will need the usual safety stuff. I'm not sure the 28.6 injectors can handle that much fuel, I run 40LB SVO injectors for the 300 shot. I would also suggest beefing up the fuel pump, I run a Walbro 340(255 ltr p/h) intank pump and a Aeromotive Tsunami external pump, you don't want to run out of fuel on a big shot. The additional cost for me was a 2nd set of noids, fittings on the MAF plate for the 2nd stage, a T off the fuel rail and a Y off the AN6 N20 line.

The maff system is the cleanest set up in its class.It is deffintly one of my favorites.It has a TPS included in the system.You will still need the normal add ons.Window switch,Genx-2 and spark plugs.That would make for a great set up.
