Okay I will try and make this short.
I have built my entire car and am having a small problem figureing out the Nitrous setup that would work real well.
98 Z28 with 410 CI 11.85:1 LS1. 242/246 duration cam.
T-400 with 3800 Nitrous stall from Yank. 373 gears.
Full slicks, extreem suspension, not missing one part. 50 lbs injectors, 2 fuel pump's.
I like to race the car on motor. I would like to have the car tuned to where it runs well on motor and great on Nitrous.
I dont have edit myself and have figured maybe a dry shot will be better for my goals.
Where is the disadvantage of spraying dry? Again fuel is defentially not a problem.
I will be spraying somewhere in the 250 hp range, with Dual stages. Car is making 460 through the 12 bolt with a slick on the back and the T-400 so I know its on its way to being fast. I would like to see 140 MPH out of this setup, and once everything is dialed in low 9's will be real nice.
Thanks in advance.

I like the wet kit because you can adjust your a/f ratio with pills. You can't with the dry kit without edit or a MAF Translator or something of the sort. Either way you need someway to pull timing out of the car. You shouldn't have a problem going that fast.

I drove a customers car to a 9.23@149.1 with a 1.31 60ft on the back tires with a similar setup.

408CI 13.4:1 244/248cam with 250 wet NX kit. The car had to weigh 3450 with me in it for the race. The car has alot left in it and we can pill it up alot more.

A 410ci motor with a 250 dry shot will probably max out your maf. Go with a wetshot & a Ramchargers timing tuner, that way you won't have to adjust your NA tune when you want to run Nitrous.

Yes maxing the MAF wouldn't be the best idea.

I wouldnt want to spray anything over 200 wet or dry, thats calling for a DP setup. You can, as others have sprayed that much...most like to use DP, has the adjustability of wet kit using pills, can tune it for max NA then with standalone fuel and right jets, spray will be nice n fat, not to worry about the MAF either that way, edit the top of the enrichment table to add a little more fuel and alls well. Using dry, you would definately need more then 50lb injectors running 460 at the wheels now and adding in 200+ shots!

If you really want to do something that will make unreal power, go direct port with a true dry set up and let the injector provide the fuel. You'll probably end up needing an aftermarket engine management system (correct me if I'm right on this).

or by a tuner and tune the car off of the speed density ve tables and eliminate the maf.

This would be a great idea just dont know of anyone offering this that has any real experience.

The car is not at rev extreem and they are going to try and figure it out.
One guy there was running a 300 shot dry through the MAF pretty impressive.
We will see what the figure out.

Even if you were to max the MAF out if he has a boost reference regulator it wouldnt matter. The MAF can be used to retard the timing when NOS is read across it. Im not to sure on the Speed density tunes but im sure you could run a dry kit through that setup as well. You can use the boost referenced regualtor and a Mustang dry kit fuel spiker and precisely measure the vacuum to your reference port on the regulator to adjust fuel pressure and control AF that way. This can be used with a large dry kit setup. Just need a way to retard timing and you'd be set.

What Jamnut said would be the simplest way IMO, but why do you have such a max effort setup and no way to personally tweak it? Thats all i want to know.
