Why don't many people use Zex?
^^^
you wont find any ZEX reps, technicians or employees on this
board...whats better than asking a tech question about a kit or product and having people like Nitrous Daves, dynotune or NXRICKY answer it almost instantly?
that and the aforementioned lack of upgradeability..nitrous is addictive!

stay away from the zex! i've seen it mess up to many times at the track, saving a few buck for a system that is prone to failure and could ruin your engine is really not saving you anything. if you want to save a few bucks look into nitro daves kits they are basically NX kits without the NX price give him a call you won't be disappointed.
maybe it's that way with the LS1 kit.
i am using the dry zex kit for the LT1. it works amazing and i proved it when i went to the dyno. i put out 267rwhp and 310ft-lbs of torque na and then when i wacked my 100 shot i put down 411rwhp/492ft-lbs. yes u didn't read that wrong. that is 140rwhp and almost 200ft-lbs of tq.
and yes, i had a wideband 02 connected. i was @ 12.5. right where i want/should be at.
i know the shot looks real big. but that is the jetting that they gave me. i have a thread in the dyno forum. if u want to see my graph. u can go over there and look.
i am not trying to start drama, but just pointing out what my car did on the dyno with the zex dry LT1 kit.

Ok you guys know I am a hard core NX guy.LOL
Im going to have to say the ZEX kit will flow up to 200 hp. The import crowd likes it because of its siplicity and flashy purple colors. Its not as big with the domestic crowd because our needs of upgrading are more important. The system is a decent kit and there customer service has always seemed good to me.Now the HP ratings are not as dead on as some companys such as NX.But if it doesnt make the HP you wanted just put bigger jets in it. Its not a bad kit..

ZEX is to nitrous... like powerdyne is to blowers! Its your choice, but i have ran NX kits on mustangs for 7 years with no problems and awesome times! TNT makes a great kit also. Spend the extra 100 bucks...its worth it i promise!

But it only comes with a 1 foot metal tube for routing which I thought was kinda lame.
