Default Help - Cobalt Gauge Problems

I recently bought an Electric Nitrous gauge, the autometer cobalt series one, and have been having problems. On initial start up it will point to 1000psi (bottle off), and when I turn the bottle on, it will peg at maximum PSI (near zero). I sent the gauge to autometer and had them check it and the sender also. They sent it back to me, saying everything checked out good. I plugged it in real quick to see if it would work yesturday, and it worked perfect. On power-up it would do a brief sweep to zero, then display the nitrous pressure. So then I ran all my wires, through dash panals, drilled, put grommets, etc , so I could finally fully install my gauge. I get everything hooked up, and same problems as the 1st time. And it is not doing the brief sweep to zero on start up either, it just barely moves a little bit backwards, then points to a number thats off the charts.

I check my grounds, powersources, etc. I dont know what it could be!

HELP!

Sounds like the sender is intermitent. Try tapping the sending unit a bit.
Those problems are tricky to solve. Try disconnecting the sending unit as well, then power it up.
