Default Nitrous Question

I have the LS1 NOS kit for a 1998 Trans Am....its a dry shot into the intake....it will be a 75 shot....is it safe??? are there any ways i can make it even safer....i think upgrading to an LS6 manifold was one option...THANKS

If it's the 5177 kit it is a good kit, it's pretty safe at a 75-100 shot. Upgrading to the LS6 intake will make it no safer so you don't have to do it, unless your just looking for alittle more power. Just make sure you run a fuel pressure saftey switch, WOT switch and a Window switch. The kit should have the WOT & FPSS switches with it.

With that little of a shot and it being a dry hit you could run it without any fuel and it would be ok. LOL

Seriously, you shouldn't have any problem at all with that kit. That was the first one I had. If you go bigger then 150 dry you might look into some new injectors and inline pump. JFYI

The best safety feature made is the window switch.If you buy nothing else buy this.And have fun.

You should be just fine as long as you are spraying it through your maf mass air flow sensor and your computer adds fuel you have nothing to worry about.
