Default What all do I need for a dry kit?

I'm thinking about a small dry kit (as in a 50 shot) for my truck after I get my posi.

I was wondering what all I would need for just a basic dry kit?

Bottle, line, solenoid, jet, and a switch right?

Your probrably better off just buying a simple universal dry kit than trying to piece one togethor (unless you have most of the parts kicking around). The small stuff like lines, fittings, gauge, and switches start to add up. Basicly you need, bottle, bottle brackets, bottle nut, gauge, filter, main feed line, NPT/AN fittings for the noid, line to go from noid to nozzle, nozzle, jet, solenoid, relay, WOT switch, master arm switch. You also may want to consider a Fuel Pressure Saftey Switch and a window switch if you want to up it to a 75 or 100 shot.

Thanks for the info!

I don't need a window switch because I've got a 3K stall. I'll be at 3500 or so before I ever get WOT.

The bottle along with the nut, and pressue guage cheap. The AN fittings and lines I can also dig up cheap locally. The little things I can get the hookup on.

Basically, I don't understand how the wiring works yet. It seems that I can just have the master switch, and wide open throttle switch. Then what? Run it to the solenoid? What is up with the relay? I'm an electical newb.

Here's a 5177 schematic for referance. Just don't pay attention to the second solenoid with the FPSS since you won't have those. Also the ground on the NOS arm switch is for a light, a regular toggle will work. .

If your using a Hella 30 amp relay the terminals should be as follows, the orange wire corsponds to #30, green #85, red #86, blue #87. I'm going by memory but I'm pretty sure that's how it was. You should be able to get the relay and harness at any autoparts stores for about $10.
