NOS makes both straight jet style dry nozzles (like the ones that come with the 5177), and a really nice 90* fan spary nozzle. The jet style would probrably work best in the lid but you could probrably make the 90* work depending on where you mounted it. I'm not positive but I think that the NOS nozzles are only made for a -3AN connection.

You may talk to nitro dave here on the board about what you still need.

As weird as it sounds ...... When I put a dry kit in my toyota truck ( which I do not have any more ) I found some of little odds and ends for the kits on www.Nopi.com and then go to the electronic catalog I think it says.

I'd put a nut on the inside of the lid to hold the nozzle tight. You might need a nut on the outside too depending on what nozzle you go with.

Dean, I was looking at those myself. Do all nozzles have the same size thread and pitch? Basicly, will it work with an NOS dry nozzle.

Should work with all nozzles with a 1/16 npt thread. The NOS dry nozzle will work as will most of the nozzles on the market. There are some nozzles on the market with a larger thread and they will not work but most are the standard 1/16"

Hope this helps!

You'd want to replace the shark nozzle with something like this. They are about $15.

Jet spray

Fan spray

I think those nozzles use -3AN connection. I would wait to get the nozzle before you get the line or a reducer. On a dry kit I don't think 4ft of line between the noid and nozzle is a real big deal.
