Question about plugs with N2O
what plugs should i run with a 100 shot of nitrous. i am currently running NGK tr55 on my engine but i am gonna be adding the gas to it and dont want to mess anything up. so what should i do? i have heard people talk about putting TR6's in their engines but just want to get some expert opinions
I use the Autolite AR103's gapped at .035 for a 150shot. I keep 3 sets on hand so I can change them out between runs. I haven't had any problems at all. The plugs always come out looking great.
I would also reccomend the TR-6s. I actually had them in my Silverado for about 5,000 miles or so just because it needed plugs and that's all I had kicking around. Some people say they will foul if you don't spray atleast once a week but I never had any issue like that. The only side affect to the TR-6s is you will notice alittle rougher of an idle. You should gap them around .035-.040. Every set I have ever bought came gapped at .038 right out of the box.
