Question bogging ?'s

Hey there guys. I have a question, or should i say a concern about launching on the spray. I currently (NA) run around 446 rwhp and bog when i launch. either that or i spin like crazy depending on rpm's. If i was to launch on the spray (TNT F-1) and caught really good traction, is there a chance that i could still bog? Would this cause damage to the engine if intake velocity dropped significantly? I am really debating this and concerned about the matter. if there is anyone that has had similar effects NA and some experience of later spraying out of the hole, please chime in and enlighten me.

what rpm do you normally launch? most people dont spray under 3k rpm's, so i imagine youre launching at at leask 3k. with that in mind, i highly doubt you will bog launching on the spray.

Car could be bogging for a few reasons, most likely not enough gear or too tall a tire. I doubt you'll bog on the spray but an RPM window switch will help if you do.

I am currently running 3.42's and launching between 5 and 6000. this week i am installing a spooled 12 with 4.10's. i will be changing out tire size and wanted to take that into consideration as well. sorry that i forgot to mention that.
i dont want to put too tall of a tire in and start having some of the same probs. do you guys have any inputs with that being said.

ps. i do have a window switch and am undecided at starting rpms but will be killing the spray at 6500 with a limiter set at 6800.

im asumming you will be running a 26 or 28" tire, right? you shouldn't bog, not with 4.10 spraying off the line, i highly doubt it.

The 3.42's have a lot to do with your bogging problems I would be willing to bet. My car has 3.42's right now, and if I just dump the clutch from 3k rpm's or lower it just bogs, any thing much higher and I start getting alot of wheelspin.
