filling station ?'s thinking about buying a filling station and was pricing the n2o. the guy said they supply a mother bottle and 75# of n2o , do you get 75# out of this , or , is it more or less ?

Most bottles are K cylinders that hold 64lbs of N2O. If you have detailed questions feel free to call us at 713-849-4120 and I can hook you up with a killer deal on a complete fill station.
You will find out that it is hard to get exactly what they say is in the bottle out.Like mike said most bottles are 64lbs or some are advertised as 55lbs.You will lose nitrous from unhhoking the bottle lines to switch bottles.A NX Fill Station comes with a accominizer valve to prevent this.

I get the 65lbs bottles and it works out to about $2.25 a lbs delivered from a local gas supplier. And like Dave said you really can't get all the nitrous out. I use bottles with siphon tubes and I usually can't get the last 5lbs out of them. It's still worth investing in a refill station though just for the conveniece factor. Plus, if you find a few people to sell to that can help pay for things.
