I took the plunge on a Dynotune dry kit, great price on the dry kit and Dean upgraded it to dual Nozzle, got a LS1tech discount on the new black bottle heater too. I will run a thread on my C-5 vert install w/ dyno results, as well as probably ask a ton of stupid questions...Still in the market for a WS and TPS or a progressive controller .

Robert your site has been a great help, I am planning to mount the noids by the front of the hood like the guy did on one of your links (btw he really needs a custom panel!).

Cheers

Because it is a poll post, so all someone has to do is vote and it'll go to top, that even with no post.

great, glad you finally got a kit. I have dyno tune stuff in my system. Yea, that's a great place to mount noids, and I have been considering this. glad the site helped some/any as that's what it's for. I seen the last couple pics of sw panels and looking good, and yes the guy on my site, as well as every other c5/Z06 needs to get a custom 'Beer" sw panel.

Yea, the PRO kit does offer quite a bit, and I like it, and think it to be the premier dry kit. But for stealth the halo may be the leader.

Soo many good nitrous kits out there. I've been researching a LOT and each and every sponsor so far including David@TNT, Robert56, Scott @ nitrous direct, nitro daves have all been rediculously helpful. I dont think any of those kits is a bad call honestly...

I have an old NOS setup it's time to get a new sweet system, considering a couple of different companies etc but leaning towards a bad *** Direct port setup from nitrousdirect.. my buddy has the same setup and says it's insane, i know nos has it too but they are very limited hp wise, and from what I understand the cold fusion one may be better and flow alot more as well... stay tuned.. we'll see what kind of a deal these guys give me!

We would love to work with you. I also am going with one of the Nitrous Direct/Cold Fusion direct ports. Here's a pic of the new PRO Direct Port, available only at Nitrous Direct. Comes with poly lines, braided lines or hard plumbed. We also, have tap/drill set-ups available. Let me know if I can help, or answer any questions.

Robert that's what i bought with braided lines. I'm starting my install this weekend. The kit is put together very well. I'm waiting to see the new
Cold Fusion progressive controller. I'm staying in the 250 range on combined hits. Well if i'm smart!

Viper, I could be wrong but I think the cold fusion under the injector nozzle is a copy of the NOS style. So I think they are the same. However the solenoids may be bigger or something. That would let the system actually flow more.I would ask Cold fusion and NOS what size solenoids come in the kits. That would tell you whta is actually different..

The Nitrous Direct PRO EFI direct port comes with quad 400hp Pro noids. We sell and rate it at 100hp-400hp, but in reality it can go much higher, for those that can handle a 400hp+ shot.

Cool. Any Idea what size solenoids are on the NOS Nozzle kit? Also It looks like cold fusion changed the under the injector nozzles.Did they?

In my experience I prefer a real nozzle but we have done many under the injector kits.

Two main reasons why I am choosing the EFI is, one ease of install, no tapping/drilling, two, I don't want to butcher up my Z06 ls6 intake and do everything with the idea of it going back to stock when time to sell.

The NOS uses a single 400hp pro shot n2o noid, and single 400hp cheater fuel noid. They say a 125/300 shot.

Ohh so the two systems should flow exactly the same then. Right?

However on something with that size of a shot I prefer using real nozzles. For the everage street guy spraying 150 maybe 200 I guess the under the injector kit works good.

Here is one of our custom kits.

NX also offer a complete NXL system that is nice.
This is someone elses picture I stole..LOL

Hey Robert. Do you have a picture of the NOS nozzle kit somewhere?
