Looks good, at least with this you dont have to run an aftermarket overflow tank. I have been waiting for somebody to do this. Kinda thought speed inc would do it. It just makes sence that somebody would. Alot of people are willing to spend a few extra dollars if it keeps from trial and error fitting and wasting money time buying ordering elbows and adapters that you dont use or need.
What about a roll over vent? And an inline PSI gauge? Or do you even need a PSI gauge if you flow it before every race? Whats the 2 noid upgrade consist of, a Y-adapter and 2 foot long sections of 6AN?

Dave, A couple comments.

I don't see a vent. Not sure about you, but fuel in a closed can that is enclosed in an area that generates heat sounds like something waiting to happen. It does not quite have the evap setup that our stock fuel tanks have. A few tech inspectors might say something about it.

Looks like the pump is running dead headed. Any chance of offering it with a return line to a nitrous jet for an orifice? Basically an option to get a second -8 female and a third 1/8 NPT bung in the tank would be nice for a roll over vent and a return line to a -4 fitting on the tank.

A one gallon cell will work fine on a car with a 300 shot. I ran one that was 2/3 of a gallon. Two to three passes on mine was possible, but I wouldn't want to run it much lower at that level. I always kept mine full regardless and would flow check it each round.

The vent is on the fill cap, the siver disc?

Dave, thanks for putting this out there, now I have to rethink using the methanol on the fuel side. This makes it too easy. Looks like with an extra line, I would be able to move the regulator off the tank, and mount to the end of the distro block (or as close to it as possible), I like. Waiting for the other one now, decide which way to go.

I never really considered the disc to be a adequate vent, at least not on mine. That disc is even on the Jaz cells and they still stick roll over vents in there.

Awesome idea. I was trying to find someone at college that would weld aluminum so I could do the exact same thing. The factory battery tie-downs are the perfect spot for a small remote fuel cell! I'll see if I can swing it later this year. Congrats

I believe that the reg is a return style and fuel re-enters the bottom of the tank from the return port on the bottom of the reg.


Also i believe you can get a 3/8 o-ring to 1/8ntp fitting for installation of a gauge in a unused port...But im not sure on the fitting sizes for that peticual reg though.

I have my own high pressure nitrous sys. 45psi

NO fuel regulator

$200.0 to build

Orginal and had it for six months

Pics are down will post link later

Tank is washer bottle and nitorus is hidden , down by the radiator. Nozzle is in the MAF FIN

Yes,
The vent is made into the cap.The regulater is a return style regulater.So it returns back into the tank.
Let me know if you guys have any questions.
We will look at making one for a vette and also plan on making one where you do not have to relocate the battery.

That is a VERY trick setup, I will be getting one shortly! Dave if im running c-16 in that 1 gal tank can I still run 93 octane on my gas tank and spray a 250 shot safe?????????

Would this kit work well for a TNT F1 kit on an LT1. If so this looks like it would be a good idea. Looks really good Dave.

What Andrew said. I figure you have a month before I get bak from ***-Ghanistan so get that non-battery one finished up sometime b/w now and then Hate to move the battery for a fuel cell

Dave, thats another idea. You should put together a total package, your fuel cell as above, with a battery relocation cable set and flaming river kill switch! That would be badass.
