Can someone explain this setup to me?

Default Can someone explain this setup to me?

In the picture below, the left most pictures shows 2 silenoids and then a blue thing. What exactly is the blue thing. Buddy just bought a used kit that looks exactly the same and no one seems to know what the hell the blue thing is. I was thinking a purge, but he said it has no electrical wires coming from it.

ARg. Its a NOS part... We've got one at work, I beleive that Its a pressure gauge port, or something to that nature..

It is a pressure regulator and it is connected to the vacaum controlled fuel pressure regulator. When the nitrous is on a regulated positive pressure is appiled to the regulator to raise the fuel pressure. This is how they are helping to increase fuel flow while the nitrous is on. At least that is how it worked on my old V6 dry setup. 5176 kit

that is correct, LS1 cars do not need this part though, Sell it on ebay or something.
