Blow Down Tube ?

Blow Down Tube ? I Im mounting my bottle ontop of my cargo in my hatch, can I cut the blowdown tube below the carpet and hook a high pressure fuel hose to the blowdown tube route it under my carpet to my sparetire well out the car. I will use hose clamps to mount the hose down so it wont flop around if the bottle disc does rupture will this work and does this all sound ok or a good idea or is there a better way in doing this

I think running it hardline would be alittle hard with the bends and stuff, any tubing i can pick up at a hardware store or basic auto store?

I'm pretty sure it is not a requirement to have steel braided or hardline for the blowdown tube. The aluminum tube that came with my NX kit is pretty flimsy anyways. I got some 1/2" (maybe 5/8", it fit exactly, whichever one) ID silicone tubing with fiberglass strands and slipped that over the blowdown tube, used hose clamps, then out through the grommet in the spare tire well. The tubing is only rated to around 400PSI, but you aren't going to be seeing 400PSI on that open tube if it pops. Mine passed tech and the guy said I did a good job.
