Default Nitrous ?

I removed my pcm to get to the groment behind to run my nitrous line through. My question is should I just remove the groment to route my nitrous line and my wires through or should I cut a hole in the groment.

My firewall is swiss cheese with all the holes I've drilled in it to pass things through. You can get grommet kits at auto parts stores and I think Radio Shack has them too.
