Default Nitrous Bottle Question...
I have a used NX bottle that I bought from a guy and was curious how often they need to be inspected since it was stamped in 1999. It looks like it has the old style valve setup but I plan on replacing that anyway with a remote bottle opener.

Its expired, bottles are good for 5 years. Bring it to a welding shop or industrial gas supply shop. They can re-certify it, then your good for another 5 years. Cost $25 up here in NH for reference.

i just took mine to get a re cert and it was 25 i took it to a place that does firesaftey equipment. in im northern cali

You could probably also take it to a SCUBA shop for a recert.
