Default FYI: Nitrous and plugs...

I have been chasing a problem for the last year with my nitrous setup. The car would never pickup what it should have. Here's the motor setup

346 CID
232/238 XER 110 110
2 year old TEA S2 ~12.25:1 CR - 225 cranking PSI
150 shot phased in 1.5 seconds
LG 1.75" LT's
3" custom duals
TR6 gapped .034

Last year I ran TR6 plugs and had nothing but problems, car would not pickup, something was just wrong. Going on a hunch, I switched over from TR6 to BPR7EFS. The first pass with the new plugs the car picked up 5 MPH and lost .3 tenths on a less than perfect pass so needless to say I am happy. Plugs do make a big difference!

isn't .34 kinda a small gap?

what did you gap the news ones at?

not small gap at all. That a NGK part number, I have some Autolites that look liek they may be reallly nice on the jug and not foul out, have yet to try them though

Phil do you mean BP7EFS, or is the R supposed to be in there BPR7EFS. All that compression I bet it doesnt mind the 7 on the motor much, how was it?

Yeah, I meant the BP7EFS, It runs ok but not like it does on the 5's
