Default Dual stage nitrous kits

I was wondering how a dual stage kit would work. Do both stages stay on when stage 2 is activated, or does stage 1 shut off when stage 2 is activated? Is it better to run a delay to the second stage and have the first stage shut off when the second stage activates or is the push button for the the second stage the way to go?

When i had the dual stage on my z-28 i had the first stage on the WOT switch and the second on a push button. I had them wired to one arming switch.

You can set it up just about any way you can think of. I have mine set up to spray the first stage at WOT (right at launch) and the second come on at 3,000 RPM.

I have mine set up as two seperate systems, each with it's own tps and arming switch. I can use the first stage by itself or the second stage by itself or both stages together. Usually I will use stage one off the line then hit stage two just after the 60' lights.
