Default **video**Prelim dyno #s and graph using the NX dual stage controller

Worked flawless and seemless. As ytou look at the graph it is very difficult to see that another stage is coming into play at 4200 rpm. I have the first stage coming on at 3200 and that is a quick jump in TQ and HP just the way I wanted. Thats to get in the power quickly. But the second stage I wanted to come in more controlled...and it does as you can see. This TQ line is not too violent and not too drastic. The large HP # you see with a relatively sage tq # is due to the way the controller adds the juice of the second stage gradually the way the users wants. The AF was going way beyond 10-1 off the scale. There is another 50 rwhp jusy from getting the AF inline. We will have to jet UP on the nitrous because we are on the smallest jets in the direct port. So it will likely be closer to 840-860 rwhp when its done. The if the customer wants to jet up he has enough to hit well over 900 rwhp im sure. We will have it completely worked out here in the next week or two with final #s. But I am VERY happy with the NX controller. However.....I am also siked to give my Maximizer a try in RPM mode out to 7500 rpm. I am feeling confidant in my setup when its ready.

Wow! That's awesome work, congrats! Had you not mentioned anything, I would have never known a second shot was coming on at 4200.

Do you know at what rpm max torque hits on 1st stage? Very impressive set-up, I like it and hope to get something near this on my dual stage (torque spike wise). I'm starting with 4700rpm for 2nd any insight?

pretty freakin sweet there, those are some impressive numbers to say the least! Has anybody here actually dyno'd that high on spray before?

max tq on the first stage dry is about 4400 rpm

It depends on how high you are spinning the motor and what size the first stage is on when you bring in the second stage. I would say yes...between 4400-5000 somewwhere in there.

Al, was there a lack of fueling, I see the spray cutoff the dyno at only 6k? Iwould think also, this is not jetted for a 300, but more like 250 seeings how the power is nearly linear? Very nice indeed. Anymore info your able to share, bottle psi, noid & line sizes etc please do.

For some reason the software cuts off the run. we made this run to 6500 rpm and it actually made 787 rwhp. You can see the HP still climbing at 6000 where its cutoff. He did not run out of fuel at all. At 6000 rpm where it cuts off he was off at 10 to 1 AF. With Nitro Daves stand alone fuel system and the Walbro intank pump there is enough fuel for well over 1000 rwhp.

The fuel lines from the stock fuel tank to the Aeromotive fuel rails are stock. The injectors are FMS 42 lb green tops.

The fuel line from the Nitro Dave stand alone is -6 and goes directly to the DP fuel noid.

We had 110 in the front tank and approx 104 in the main tank.

The main nitrous feed line is an NX -6 that is T-ed off to a -6 feeding the wet DP and a -4 feeding the dry.

It made just over 700 rwhp on the wet DP alone

It made exactly 700 rwhp on a large dry alone

787 rwhp using both. When you spray both at once it splits the nitrous flow reducing the size of the shot to the dry as well as the wet. Thats another reason for the wet jetting needing a change to keep the Af right.

SO in other words its jetted for a 400 shot...and on either the dry or the wet alone it will see approx 200 hp gain. But both together it sees approx 300 total.

We are jetted as high as we want to go on the dry side at 200 hp. The wet side is jetted at 200 hp as well but can go to 500 hp.

Al, thats some good info, and sharing....remember sharing is caring! What kind of Dry setup is it, twin nozzle or modified 5177? I though they only flowed like 125 without a jet?

But, if you use a cheater solenoid you can run 250, and a Pro noid 400+

Congrats to the owner, as we're not naming names. Should be fun tonight.

this is a basic 5177 kit. But its been modded slighty so that the inlet is in between the two noids. Each noid will flow approx 140 hp. So it can probably flow a bit less than a 300 dry. To mod a 5177 kit like this cost only $25-40 extra in fittings over the basic kit.
