Anyone try Iridium + nitrous... I was talking to a buddie of mine who owns a shop and he said that they have dynoed a couple of cars back to back with copper vs iridium plugs and seen gains. 8 - 20rwhp Anyone try them? Anyone have a PN for an iridium Bp7EFS non projected plug?

I've thought platinum & iridium plugs is not good for nitrous usage. They are more long-lives, but there have poor spark...

Iridium resists heat 4-5 times better than conventional plug material and are WAAAAAYYY better than platinum. They're an ideal nitrous plug as long as you select the proper heat range. Only downside to them is cost, but if you want to run well on motor and the spray, they're worth a serious look. I'm running TR6ix's.

I've talked to NGK about those plugs, they are recommended by them for being safe now for juice. Make sure you get one or two steps colder.
They told me one step colder if you are going to 100-125shot
150-200 shot, go two steps colder.

The iridium plugs should last about as long as platinum plugs. Yes, the TR6ix has the same heat range as the TR6 (which is colder than the stock plugs and colder than the TR5s and TR55s). They should be good for 500-550 rwhp. Go higher in hp than that and you probably want to go another step or two colder (which NGK makes iridiums for also).
Did you ever have a Yank SS3600 converter in the bunch you have owned? If so what rpm do they like to be stalled at? I had a Vig 2800 that only liked launching off idle. The SS3600 feels much better between the two.

Yes, I owned one of those converters. I had equally good ETs brake stalling it (to as much rpm as the brakes would hold) and flash stalling. For consistency, I preferred to brake stall...plus I got a lot better reaction times doing it that way.
I'm currently running the TR6ix's... I haven't had a chance to spray them yet but they appear to work fine for me N/A. I was told by a couple of people that this would be a very good plug to use on the spray.
