Default How much spray do you guys think my engine could take?

I know my crank/rods can take a bit of spray im mainly wondering about my pistons. I have keith black hyper's in my 383 sbc engine. Im wondering what you guys would consider safe with these pistons provided it has proper fueling. I have read some sites that say don't go above 100 than i have heard of other running a 250. Just wondering what everyones thoughts where as to how much these can handle. I know there are a bit of stock ls1 guys spraying quite a bit. just wondering on my engine

yeah its all ways better to be safe then sorry

i have a freind you ran it with no jets just open lines so that would be 175shot for the longest time in his 98 trans am

then i had a friend same kind of car and ran 125 and blew it in i think 3 runs so it all depends but 100 is a nice safe number and if you get a wet shot and you have a fuel safety switch is really safe and if its a standard then it wouldnt be bad to get a window switch

i'd say 100-150 also. keith blacks are better than stock but barely. be sure to do a plug check after you spray and hope for no speckles !
