Default Question on getting Power ring onto stock TB

Before I get a hammer out and start banging stuff, just want to get some clarification. I'm in the process of installing a TNT Power Ring onto my SS with stock TB. Initially should the power ring be loose around the neck of the TB? I assume I will need to use a rubber mallet to tap the power ring far enough down the neck of the TB so that the rubber O ring seals around the neck, thus giving me a good seal?

Yep, mine was loose until the gasket, had to pound it on with a rubber mallet and then tighten the grub screw. You don't have to beat the **** out of it though. I was able to do it with the TB still on the intake.

Cool, thanks for the clarification. Gonna run to the hardware store and see if I can find a screw that will for the part that goes over the TB. Bought it used and either it didn't come with the screw, or I put it somewhere, which means it's now lost, hahaha.
