Default Nitrous spraying question??

I have the NX MAF kit and today I thought I would test it out in the garage. So, what I did was pulled the fuel line off and ran it into a can...pulled the nos line off and held it up in the air...dropped my window switch "on"setting to 300 so I could get it to spray while sitting there...and I then proceeded to push the wot switch with my hand. The first thing I found out was that the bottle was empty. But my question is this...while holding down the wot switch, even though the bottle was empty it was still trying to spray, but I noticed that instead of it having a steady spray, it was like pulsing. It would be like, spray...pause...spray...pause. Is this the way that it is supposed to work? Was it just because the bottle was empty? Or do I have a wiring issue? When I first got the kit hooked up, it just didn't feel like it was hitting very hard. I started with a 75 shot and the window switch was set to on=3500, off=5500. Now maybe it didn't feel like it was hitting hard because it wasn't coming on right at the hit of the throttle. And also, I never hit it until 3rd gear at about 40mph and then I went wide open throttle. But anyway, what do you guys think about the pulsing question??

Could you hear the noid clicking on and off when it was pulsing? Are you running a FPSS, and was it bypassed? It could be due to the fact of almost no nitrous or bottle pressure but I've never tested my sytem on an empty bottle. I have emptied bottles though and they never do that when emptying them at the valve. If you do have a FPSS and it wasn't bypasssed that is probrably the problem. The fact that the fuel line is wide open shocks the fuel system and you'll get a drastic drop in pressure.

Bypass that FPSS and test it again. If this where actually happening when your spraying out on the road you should be getting some pretty good surging action. As you probrably figured the clicking is the solenoids kicking on and off.

If you are talking about the nitrous was pulsing like taht its because your bottle was empty or low.It will not flow right like that.

Okay..I was hoping to get a definate answer. The bottle was definately empty. After that I took it in the house and weighed it and it was dead on at 14.5, which is what the sticker says the empty bottle weighs. Thanks Dave
