Default Nitrous help

I have a 98 ls1 with 70k. I want install a dry stage nitrous kit with somewhere around a 75-100 hp shot. my question is: does the kit come with all the proper hardware i will need, including the window switch, if not what else do i need. also, in reguards to retarding timing, will this alter gas milage because this will be an everyday driver. also, which will be the best kit to go with.

Most dry kits come pretty complete. Out of the dry kits out there NOS 5177 is probrably the nicest set up. You will have to purchase a window switch seperatly and you'll want to pick up a good filter too along with some colder plugs like the NGK TR-6s. A bottle heater and purge would also be nice if you have the money. With only a 75-100 shot, the stock timing works for most people and even if you did have to adjust the tune alittle, your part throttle tune shouldn't be affected. I can still knock down over 25 MPG on the highway with my nitrous tune.
