sweet! Do you have a picture of how you have it running to the vent, and where you have the end of the hose coming from? what size hose are you using?

how much gas do you waste?

does nobody purge from the brake vents then? how would I achieve the biggest cloud?

i dunno i think coming out of the brake vents aiming up at a 45 degree angle would look sweet...maybe its just me...i just don't know how wastefull that would be.... :/

That vid from V10 killer was pretty tight. It's kinda got me interested in doing that with my TNT im close to getting.

If anyone has some pics with the hood up, showing how you have run the lines. I could probably figure it out, but it helps to see examples.

I don't have it anymore, but I used 3/16" brake line coming up from under the center support of the lower airbox coming from my purge solenoid under the hood latch (was on a NOS 5177 kit). Then used a compression tee, then two pieces about 5" then bent 90 degrees and about 2" more tubing. I had it fastened in with those screw in clamps used on fuel lines. I had to open up the rain baffles in the hood a little bit, but it worked pretty well

Unfortunately, it was kinda hard to see from the inside of the car. But I had another bend in the line to point it more forward and less up, just for looks.

I just switched to a NX kit over the winter and my new purge is right at the windshield cowl. I pulled out the foam support at the cowl that the hood sets on a few years ago to keep the engine bay cooler, and could conveniently put the stainless line right thru the existing holes.
Here's what my new setup looks like, but forgive the filthy car. I took it to work last night and I got rained on. I haven't had a chance to clean it yet today.

what made you decide to go from the nostrils to the hood?

your opinion on venting from each side of the brake vents?

I've seen vids before of spraying from the hood, and just liked that look.

I have no problem with the whole spraying from brake vents idea. However, there seem to be a lot of very narrow minded people around that see something that was also in F&F or 2F2F, and automatically deem it as rice without even putting thought towards whether it looks good or not. The spraying from brake vents thing is "sometimes" grouped in there. I personally think it looks great when done on some cars. However you might catch some flack for it...

Then it depends on the flow restriction. I think with 1/8" line you'd be ok. 3/16" will obviously use more and be a bigger cloud. If you're gonna do both sides, I'd say do a 1/8" NPT to compression tee at the purge noid and use 1/8" flexible hose to the brake vents then. Angle up if you can so you can see it from in the car.

Not sure, I never used one personally. But if you're looking for the parts, check out this page:

Here is mine thru the ram air vents. 1/4" thru the hood to a tee and two 1/8" lines in the box for the vents.

Why not let it spray on the windshield,,,,,will it hurt it??????????

It's like putting hot water on a frozen windshield in the winter. It'll crack it because of the drastic temp. change. The nitrous is well below freezing, and you don't want it blowing directly on a hot windshield.

I saw that. Th reason I didn't think abotu that is because I always see gusy spraying up from the windshield at the track, but it must be spraying over the windshield where it isn't actually spraying ON the Windshield, just over it.

That's about how I had mine spraying on my Camaro. Mine was just angled a little more back towards the windshield. Nice pic btw.
